Attending Court is the final step of the bankruptcy process. Before calling the Court and arranging a time and date to apply for a Bankruptcy Order you first need to think about your plan of action.
Bankruptcy will clear all your unsecured debts, but in doing so it is going to stay on your Credit Report for six years, which will have an effect on your future borrowing during that timeframe. Another method of insolvency is an IVA, which may be ideal should you have equity to protect, or a job that is excluded from bankruptcy.
If bankruptcy certainly is the solution you're looking for, then the necessary documentation will eventually be submitted to your local County Court.
