Going to Court will be the final step of the bankruptcy process. Before calling the Court and organising a time and date to apply for a Bankruptcy Order you first need to think about what you can do.
Bankruptcy will clear all your unsecured debts, but in doing so it's going to remain on your Credit Report for six years, which will have an impact on your future borrowing during that timeframe. An alternative type of insolvency is an IVA, which could be best suited in case you have equity to protect, or a job which is excluded from personal bankruptcy.
If personal bankruptcy certainly is the answer you're looking for, then the necessary documentation will eventually be filed at your local County Court.
